Other than color what's the difference between white or black trays? From my understanding white is virgin plastic and more expensive and black is able to use recycled plastics and be cheaper. But is one color more beneficial than the other for a grow room?
The cheaper one allows you more $ spend. I would think that the color would influence light transfer and maybe temp retained from the lights. Not sure, I went with black one.
Yeah you bring up heat issues and I think the whites might be more reflective. Even though the whites are more expensive I'd rather go with them as I'm making the grow room as all white as possible. I'm wondering how hard the whites are to keep clean? Id imagine they'll never look new again but do they just get trashed from constant draining? I'll be using coco if it makes a difference.
