I have a problem with the classic LED growlight built from monchromatic leds. I agree will all the science. But if you look at the LED datasheets you will see that, on average, daylight white LEDs have up to three times the luminosity of red LEDs. I believe, this negates the advantage of using red leds. White LEDs are a fraction of the cost of “grow†leds and they work perfectly well for flowering weed. If there is anyone else growing with white Leds love to hear from them? I have attached a pic of a plant grown in a box under about 70 watts of white led.
