Yeah, I totally just started a recent grow with (at current) a single (supposedly) White Widow seed. Its sprouted recently, and as soon as the serrated leafs came thru the round ones, they had little white hairs on them. Anyone know what this is, good or bad...or...what? Go look at my grow journal for pics. http://forum.grasscity.com/hydroponic-grow-journals/684133-first-time-hydro-grow-perpetual.html
I wouldn't say that is normal at all. Plants don't show their sex either until the first 10 days of flowering or in late (5+ weeks) of veg.
Well, Im not exactly sure its a sign of sex, being as the white hairs were on the tip of the first set of leaves. Although, of the three of these beans Ive popped, all three have had this same charecteristic. Maybe a unique phenotype?
