Normally everything is just alcohol and cookware.... sooooo I had an idea to buy a really nice knife set.... and thought "how cool would it be!?" To package said knife set with a micheal myers mask splayed on top of the knives? I know it's morbid but I'm really leaning into whoever opens it being super confused with the mask ... but underneath is a full leather sheath of kitchen knives lol... am I too high?
did you ever stop to think , they might figure to count on yet another crazed employee in there mix, id say bad choice for todays society just my opinion , you did ask
Not in are mix lol, just thought it would be a cool way to introduce a nice set of knives... Halloween did just end ... soo i don't know .. was just trying to be creative...

Soooo apparently my H.R. manager just got arrested.... the myers mask was found in her car.... but the knives remained wrapped in Xmas wrap. I thought it might be funny at first, but I guess I'm not Dave Chapelle....
Rainbow would have worked better! Damn they didn't have that option. Rainbow hardened clay knives! And the tip is removable! They didn't have rainbow handles unfortunately
(also a mike Myers mask would make you the creepy guy of the office), it's in poor taste. Stick with the knife set.
Usually a good knife set will cost over $1,000. I'm a chef, my knives usually 200 to 500 each, some close to $1,000.
Zwilling is a good brand. I know chefs who use it. They're similar to wusthof. The steel is a bit on the soft side, which means it needs sharpening more often, but soft steel is much easier to sharpen than hard steel.
I don't know my shit like that... we got a 100$ to offer a random present to whom ever may grab it... I know their not the best knifes, I just wanted to create a moment most people wouldn't forget... everybody today is so offendable yet the entire office loved it... even the waiters were laughing... (event was hosted at a Landry's restaurant.) Nothing diabolical was intended, packaging was just as such to be like "what the heck is this?" OH knife set lol...
That's crazy! 1000$ wow I'm not that educated in knives though I do love cooking and know the most dangerous utensil in a kitchen is a dull knife... I have like a faux Damascus knife in my drawer ... which I love... I just keep it sharpened as much as possible! Fortunately everybody found the humor in the gift. Understandably I'm aware of the current social climate and in the future I'll approach such decisions with said awareness. Last thing I want to do is spread negativity... I was high and it seemed funny.
My old set I used for work. They see home cooking now. Fiance bought me this one for Xmas. My really nice knives were stolen by the towing company or cops when I got arrested, I was coming home from work and had all my knives in a backpack. Was missing when I got my car back.
