White Crystals on Leaves - Trichomes or Bad Omens?

    ]This is my first grow.
    Week 3 of flowering started 2 days ago and I noticed some white crystal type shit on the leaves of 5 of my 6 plants.
    I didn't put as much care or attention into the one plant that doesn't have them, so that's kinda got me thinking the crystals are there because the other plants are further along. On the other hand it might be mites or mildew and that scares me. Is it normal for this shit to appear on the leaves at about this time?

    Trichomes. They start frosting leaves about week four for me.

    Trichomes. Some strains stack trichomes all over the leaves and others not soo much.

    Those leaves are perfect for making edibles.
