White bumps on bottom of main stem

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Northwood, Jan 3, 2023.

  1. Happy new year! Ok so I noticed these white bumps on the main stem. When I touch them they aren't hard more like soft. When I wipe them with my finger it goes away. Also when I dig a little deep right below the stem there are more white spots. I wanted to know of this is normal or mold perhaps. Hope yall can help. Cheers.

  2. Thanks pal will look into this.
  3. Are they getting bigger still? Curious as to what this turns out to be.
  4. Totally normal, its roots. You can keep burring weed stems farther and farther and they put out more and more roots. My next run i plan to bury 6-8'' of stem once they go into final pots. Im keeping them root bound in starter pots for now- i will cut off most the roots when they go into the final pot. Ultimately should give me a much sturdier plant with a more efficient root system.
