Which side of the ti pad do i heat

    Just got my highly educated ti pad. Which side do I heat the bottom or the top ( side I dab on). .

    Wouldn't that put butane on my pad, I see videos where they never heat the top of the ti Nail but on the sides instead. Wouldn't this concept apply to a ti pad too?

    I always just used the bottom, I don't think it really matters though. Heating the top part will get it hotter quicker saving butane I guess.
