We had to have a partner and explain simple things to them in the most simple detail. (They were pretending to either be dumb or a tourist who doesn't speak English "well" and doesn't know our gestures.. I can't remember all of it.. it was years ago) That was absolutely futile. So hard to explain simple things such as what the color "blue" is or what "fear" is.
