Which of these 2 laptops would you get?

    I know one's a pc and one's a mac and all but I'm torn between these two. I like the Mac because I can screw around with more music programs and all but I also like to game on and off and I'm not sure how well it'd support that.

    Ultimately, I want a computer that's relatively fast, below about 550, decent at games, and something I can potentially create music with. PC's have a decent amount of programs as far as music software goes but Macs seem to have better support on that. I'm really at a loss here blades and you guys have really helped me as a consumer quite a bit.:confused:

    Macs aren't very good for gaming unless you spend a lot but better in every other way. They don't get slow after you have one for 3months. I have a macbook pro.

    the biggest thing for me NOW that i didnt realize before buying a laptop was that battery life is a BITCH! and neither of those are really capable of playing any demanding games. i would get a desktop if you want to play games. it just really comes down to you haha but i would get that asus if those are your only two options. 160gb goes by quick

    i also own one of these. its nice to have but i hardly use it now that my desktop is running

    I have no problem with pcs at all this mac is the first I have owned. I used an ex gfs all the time back in the day and really liked it and decided to get one. There's a reason macs start at 1k and people buy them.

    i mean...you could buy some better piece of hardware for half the price and then install the ios from a disc or usb. its not like hardware lies

    neither does any other computer?

    they are uneducated on computers and dont realize they can build a equal system for half the price or a system better in every way for the same price? only valid reason i see....


    i wouldnt get either, i dont buy refurb, especially laptops or computer components.

    but that asus is clearly the better deal.

    I guess I got unlucky then everytime. Whenever I buy a pc it takes like 1minute till I can use it. The longer I have it the slower it gets...and I only stream lol

    I'd definitely go for the Asus. 2 GB of ram is pretty awful, as is a 160 GB hdd.

    probably had too many start up processes and programs enabled that you didnt even know about. anyone with windows knowledge can clean that up and make it run faster.

    macs are faster often because of the OS and little startup processes. most linux OS's can match or beat mac.

    the problem is most people just dont know how to use their computers, causes hatred towards computers. and thinking mac is simple when really its just because its so limited in its capabilities so nothing can possible confuse you lol.

    how dare a computer confuse thee or require common knowledge to use.
