Hi, I am starting 3 plants. I currently have one that is a seedling ( about 2-3 inches in length) and the other two are germinating but almost ready to be planted. Here's my situation: due to space limitations, I will only be growing these plants in my home until I am able to assure they are females. Then I will be moving them to my buddy's grow house. Here's my question.. I currently have a 19 watt (120v) cfl bulb already for my single seedling, but I am looking to upgrade so I can accommodate for the 3 plants. Considering I will not be growing these plants for that long at my house, I am not trying to spend a ton of money on lighting, but I will buy what is necessary. That being said, what would be my best and cheapest option to light these plants until I can sex them during their flowering period? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Graham
Go buy more CFLs. A single pack of the 27 watt ones should be good. I think they come in a pack of 5, and that'll be plenty. Although, I think there is a tiny flaw in your plan. To sex your plants, you'll need to induce flowering. This is done by changing the light spectrum of your bulbs to the 2700k spectrum. Also, you'll have to move to 12/12 lighting.

I wish I had better more appropriate equipment.
