Ok...so that\'s my main question. Which hurts more? A brand or a tattoo. I want one or the other but pain on my skin sucks unless it\'s accompanied by sex. I also have to consider which is more prone to infection. Even if you don\'t know, take a guess. Thanks!
well ive branded cattle, and that seems like it really really fuckin hurts! cows are tough as shit, and it seems like it hurts alot, even to them. and the thing to remember is, burns hurt for a long time afterwards... they just keep throbbing! Now, I dont have any tattoo\'s but all my friends say it aint to bad. so Id say get a tat. a brand? really? damn....
Needles wig me out which is why a brand is an option. I know if I had someone chill with me and maybe a few xanax\'s, I\'d be good to go for either but I just want some input before I jump into one or the other.

oh, for some reason branding always conjures up the image of somone getting a big A with a circle aroud it branded on their ass. One of my friends wants to get \"Top Gun Mother Fucker\" Tatooed on his ass. but yeah...I\'m thinking getting branded would majorly suck..
brands hurt more but are finished more quickly........there sore for a couple of days though.........tattoos take longer to apply..........wont hurt as badly..........nothing a little chronic wont soothe..........
come to think of it... I burned the shit out of my leg on my tailpipe... like gross and really painfull, and the scar is almost gone... theyd have to burn you pretty damn good to get it to stick... Cancer representin
rumjil, my suggestion would be to get the tattoo. I very much dislike needles, but was able to put up with it when I got my tattoo. Getting a tattoo doesn\'t hurt that much either. It was a little more painful than I imagined it to be, but easy to tune out while it was being done. My room mate likens the next couple days to a slight sunburn where your tattoo is. Not bad at all.
Ive never branded myself, but alot of my buddies branded themselves by lighting a lighter for a really long time, and pressing it to their arm. They were all drunk when they did it and they looked like they were having a tough time. The next morning they said it really hurt bad, and it hurt for some time. My g/f is the biggest sissy in the world and has a tattoo. I would recomend a tattoo. They look better anyway. Where you plannin on getting a tattoo?
Branding comes out like shit. Get a tat, they don\'t hurt bad unless you get it right over a bone. edit: your bed sheets are gonna get nasty though, put on some old ones for a few days/weeks.
My suite mate last year got plastered and wanted to brand a cross on his shoulder. He tried using a lighter and a pocket knife. It didn\'t come out too well and he said iti hurt like hell. edit: And if you want company when you do it rumjil, you know I\'m in knox-vegas.
I got two tattoos, just got my second one done. I could never imagine getting branded. Damn that has to kill. But yeah, anyways. My first tattoo is inbetween my shoulder blades, and it really didn\'t hurt that bad. Kind of a hot, stinging sensation. Think taking a shower with real high water pressure and real hot water. Thats how I felt. The one I just got is on the underside of my wrist, like where people would slit their wrists at. Shit hurt pretty bad. It was tolerable, and the tattoo didn\'t take long, but it wasn\'t comfortable. Hurt alot more than the first one, for sure. My girlfriend got the same thing in the same place with me, and she was able to make it, and she absolutely hates needles. Go with a tattoo for sure. They\'re awesome. Where you plan on getting it? That\'ll definately effect how painful the tattoo is going to be.
Actually, I can say from experience that it didn\'t hurt me very much at all. I have 3 on my legs, one which is on the back of my calf, and I was able to easily drown out the pain with some music on my headphones(I def. suggest this). They\'re not directly over any bones though, I think those hurt more.
a long day of tequila once left me with a PD on my forearm (p was backwards, so it looked more like qD.) anyways, it was done with a cigarette, and i can remember it hurting a lot, even when i was filled with tequila, but then, it also took about 15 minutes. definately looked gross the next morning. glad i own a lot of longsleeves. theres only a small piece of it left, the top crest of the P. i have a tattoo as well, it took an hour and 45 minutes. id take the tattoo over the 15 minute cigarette burn any day, and being that it didnt last, id say a branding hurts WAY more than a tattoo. get the tatty! color is cool.

Never had a tattoo, but speaking as someone who used to hold lit cigarettes against my arm, I\'m here to tell you that branding is gonna hurt real bad. And it\'ll hurt for a couple of days. God I\'m so glad I found Cannabis, and don\'t have to do that shit anymore.
as everyone previously said... go for the tatt... if your worried about how its gonna feel, ask the guy to do a try run in the area your gonna be getting the work done....that way you get a feel for what your getting into... Plus, I\'ve noticed that brands tend to only look really cool on black skin, they also have a higher rate of infection. I could deff. picture you with a nicely placed tatt though.... Especially one right above your hind.... all ya gotta do then is wear a high riding thong.... annnnnnn \"rrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr\" talk about the image of pure sexyness!
