Hello blades awhile back I made a thread about which camera I should buy and eventually I settled on the Canon t1i. However due to shortage of supply and other unfortunate shit the price of the t1i which was well in my price rang in now insanely high and way too expensive for me to afford. This leaves me with a few questions. 1.) If I were to buy the body of the T1i would lenses from Canon non Digital SLRs work. We have a somewhat old Canon SLR with a couple of lenses, I could use these but I'm not sure if they would be compatible. 2.) Does anyone have experience with the Nikon D3100. If so tell me what you think of it. I couldn't find anything in an immediate google search, but does it come with software to take time lapse photos because that was a major draw for the Canon for me. 3) Are there any cameras you recommended within the 600 dollar range? Thanks for any help it is much appreciated.
I bought a Canon T2I and with a battery grip and and a 8 gig card I got best buy to match it for $915 but the price might of gone down by now. idk. I love my camera. I just need a new lens. make sure to look into dslrs that have video capability...very good up side to owning a nice dslr.
1. You can find FD to EOS lens adapters, so your old Canon SLR lenses will work on your Canon DSLR body. 2. No, I'm a Canon guy. 3. Don't be afraid to buy used gear, that's where your best value is overall especially when just entering digital.
