Which bulb is which?

    I got two boxes, one is supposed to be a MH and on is a HPS.
    They both say the wattage but nothing else. One is skinny and long. The other is a little fatter and oval shaped.

    Is the oval one hps
    skinny MH?

    Other way around...skinny is HPS...fat is MH...

    I agree ^^

    look on the end of the bulb to be sure...is there some printing?

    plug them in and turn them on.

    When their on hps will have a red/orange tinge MH will be blue/white

    Alright thanks guys.. I did have them mixed up. This one looks like the sun!

    There's no printing they both say 400w
