Where we are so far

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Andy Katz, Sep 16, 2018.

  1. Greetings, we have seven plants, all decidedly female, in their second week of blooming. Lights are LED combined veg & bloom, with two added high frequency bulbs. After nearly killing one plants by over fertilizing, I left them alone until just today, when I added half-strength Fox Farms Big Bloom to two of them.

We haven't been adjusting pH or doing much aside from watering. Room is still warm, low 80s, with humidity >50%. I know we'll need to get the temp down, but is okay for now? Also, how important is pH for the blooming stage?

Any tips to get us through the next two weeks will be greatly appreciated.
    TIA

  2. I also have nvr used my ph meter, u use less then half strength fox farm trio. I only water with jug spring water(which is why I think I’ve been ok skipping ph). Every 3-4 weeks use sledgehammer and flush. After flushing water with nuts. It’ll help riots absorb the nuts. Also. It don’t look like u prune at all. Start reading about it. I don’t all mine late(right b4 I hit 2w in flower). From my reads it’s a must

  3. If you're using led ive found perfect temps between 80-84
My tent hits 86 sometimes and I haven't had issues. With humidity 50 is fine. 40 to 60 is optimal for flower but if you have enough air flow there wont be any problems going a little over 60
Other than that I cant really help I dont use fox farms

  6. If u don’t. I use grow big during veg, after flipping 12/12 I then use grow big(still) and add liquid bloom to the mix.
    sorry same thing.

  7. Thanks for the advice. I've ordered Boomerang & Sledgehammer, just in case. Also appreciate the nutrient schedule. So it seems as though we don't need to worry too much over the temps. I think it'll start to cool down a bit anyway in the next two weeks, when the bloom really starts to take off. Hard to believe we, first timers, got all seven seeds into pretty strong, healthy plants. Fingers crossed.

  8. The thing with temps over 80. High temps will degrade the sugar coating. Which is where the smell and taste come from.

  9. That fox farm schedule, when I got the trio from shop that is not how I was told to use it! I was told. Start with grow big in bloom, at first sign of flowering start big bloom with grow big, the week 6 and up start tiger bloom. When I was on fox farm I found that chart. Then if u go to the trio where u buy it it explains it how it was at the shop. So I then called them, the guy I spoke with nvr realized it said two different things, he referred me to chart and I referred him to the trio nut where u buy them. He said his best guess is the chart is if u use it from

I thought about getting boomerang but I’m trying to spend as lil as possible and use as lil as possible. Getting it b4 I need it is just telling myself my plants r gonna need a dr.... I’m hoping for the best, and Expecting it lol. Also. U should NEVER order nuts online.. it’s a hit a mis thing. But tons of ppl have got stuff not sealed, leaking, claimed to be watered down etc etc. get it from ur local shop, most will match online prices. That way u know it’s a clean sealed bottle

  10. Okay. I'll start adding Grow Big along with Big Bloom. Really appreciate the advice.

    Thanks:)
