Well... It is time for me to get another job... I haven't worked a real job since I started smokin like 2 months ago... and well, I need my paper. Now I was wondering if any of you knew any standard places in the US (Im in michigan), and by standard I mean restaurants (of any kind), stores like target and whatnot, umm... I dunno, coffee/bagel shops, pizza places, w/e. thanks.
Dominos, definately Dominos. I have an interview there today, and it seems so chill. Listen to music and make pizzas and get stoned. Sounds chill to me!
I have an interview with a company that builds helicopter engines next week. See if one of those is local Honestly though, dishwashing is a great job. You even get a little tipout usually.
i would suggest working as a server at a restaurant. i work at friday's and the majority of the wait staff/cooks smoke. plus, no dt's!
I pick what trees need to get cut and i evaluate the down timber in a logging operation. Its a big job and i had to have a college degree. I told you that story to say this, the guys under me, the ones that just cut down trees just get a few days of training and they make about $12 an hour
Im in Detroit, And aient a damn place hiring. Aient michigan got the worst economy in the states? I think so.
restaurants man. restaurants. i don't know if you've got any papa's restaurants around where you are, if you do, go there. their training program is held in really high regard for upscale restaurants, and they're so proud of it, they'll hire you to be a server with no experience. of course, you'll start out as a food runner for a couple months while you do all your training, but there's decent money to be had at a papa's restaurant. then after a year or 2 of that, you can go to a high dollar steak restaurant and make stripper money. I was chatting with my waitress at Mortons (50+a plate), and she said on a slow night she'll pull 200 bucks. she said all summer, when everyone's having anniversary dinners, she'll make up to 600 bucks on a weekend night. i'm a waiter, and when i lived in vail working as a liftee, i tried to get into a restaurant there for extra cash, and i couldn't, because no one ever left. they make upwards of 200k annually up there, waiting tables.
