Where to Store Weed?

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by Shouse1018, Oct 24, 2005.

  1. Hey, just got an ounze of some really good dank. Was wondering where is the best place to store it for lasting freshness? i.e. does it need to be in a hot humid place, or what?

  2. just put it in an airtight container in a cool dark place .... basically in a tupperware tub in a cupboard will do

  3. Yup, cool dark place. Not in the heat, no. Lol

  4. If you want to keep it fresh just put the weed in a zip-lock bag and put it in to the freezer. It keeps the bud fresh for quite a while. Just take out enough for a few days at a time and put that in your nug jar. Once you run out of what you want in your jar just go get some more from the freezer. It should keep nice and fresh for a longer then it will take you to smoke it all.

  5. yea leave it in the sun for a few hours and get back to us on wat happened no jj jk lol but seriously dude take pics

  6. i just got these airtight lock containers from target, they freaking rule, keeps all my bud fresh as new

just go shopping for some airtight or vacuseal tupperware crap and you wont be dissapointed

  7. Taken from Canabible.

The best way to store marijuana depends on how long you wish to store it for. Once the her is properly dried and cured, you need to determine the expected length of storage time. For small amounts that won't last very long a dar, dry place will be sufficient. For quantities that will last longer, such as a month, refrigeration is reccomended, prefrably in sealed glass jars. For amounts that will last longer then a month, freezing is the best option. Buds stored in the freezer will not deteriorate noticeably, as long as the herb is not taken out of the freezer often. Every time it is removed from the freezer, moisture is drawn though the vegetative tissues to the ouside of the buds, which can affect the taste and quality. Transferring enough stored marijuana from the freezer to the refrigerator to cover your short-term marijuana needs can cut down on the number of occasions it is taken out of the freezer. (You dont want to go in to the freezer every time you want to enjoy a nugget)
