where to place my grow: its up to the city

im in somewhat of a dilemna as to where to place my stealth grow speaker. before i elaborate further i will describe to you what my cabinet looks like. Its a "vintage" speaker/sub whatever from around the eighties, 4 cfl's and two pc fans; i plan on growing 2 plants in it with a scrog. teh exterior appears as a normal speaker and obviously since im using a sub as a grow space it has to be stealth. so we come to my question: where to put this groovy grass growing garden?

a) in my room, it looks like a speaker and i can put other things among it like my guitar/keyboard stereo. it will fit in but smell may be an issue and ill be uneasy when anyone enters my room. ps i can open a window near it but in winter that may be a problem.

b)in my closet, put it amongst other junk and it will go unnoticed. this is what i meant to do intentionally but i ran into a setback with the wiring of an extension cord from my room to the closet and how it stuck out like a sore thumb. smell wouldnt be as bad an issue since i can open the attic door every now and then and people dont enter my closet as often.

c)in the attic, this might be what i resort to; the attic would eliminate almost all probability of someone noticing the grow, smell would be eliminated since there are small vent holes around the perimiter of the attic but another real setback to this is the wiring again. i may be able to splice the wire that runs to a bulb socket and switch but i have no idea or experience on how to do this, also i dont know if the wire could handle the electricity im pulling.

d)some other thing the city thinks up

ps, if anyone knows of any good wiring guides, help me out
