Where to find Northern Lights bud / flower in Colorado?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by Amator herbae, Aug 28, 2023.

  1. I first tried the Northern Lights flower / bud using a DaVinci IQ Classic vape in 2018 and it worked wonderfully. I easily got the Northern Lights from a nearby dispensary. Recently though, I've only been able to find dispensary specific flower strains of which I've either never heard or that are some Frankensteinian bastardization of two or more strains of which I *have* heard. I know there are vape cartridges that purport to being "Northern Lights", but I prefer the actual flower. For some reason there's a dearth of "classic" strains like Northern Lights in the greater Denver and Westminster areas. Does anyone know where to get Northern Lights bud / flower ( from a legal dispensary ), say, within a thirty mile radius of the Denver or Westminster Colorado areas?

    Thanks,

  2. Why don't you grow your own? Plenty of Northern Lights seeds out there.
In fact, I have a couple of Northern Lights plants in my tent right now, as it's
    my favorite strain.

  3. Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I really don't have the hardware and know-how to grow my own cannabis -- it's why I pay for it in the first place :) Anyways, years ago, I heard that one could get an "autoflowering kit" that came with a single seed and then a pot filled with the correct soil mixture and micronutrients and that all you had to do was plant the seed, water it and keep it under a grow light for six weeks. Have you heard of this or am I remembering incorrectly? Even if I did get such a kit, you have to cut and dry the flower, and I have no idea what I'm doing... There're several books on growing mj but the authoritative source is over 2000 pages :|

  4. Thanks for the reply! :)

I really don't know what I'm doing w.r.t. growing mj, but I've heard about "autoflowering kits" that take a minimum of effort. How do you grow yours?

  6. Growing your own is def a great option. Tons of tutorials on youtube ranging from general overviews to get you started to specifics about specifics about the process. But if you just wanna buy some weed check out leafly and weedmaps I believe they both have the option to find specific strains near you. Northern lights is quite an OG strain I have to imagine you can find it in Colorado. Good luck finding it.
