i've been looking all around for mylar, and the people i ask either have no idea what i'm talking about or know what it is but don't know where i can get some. whats a good store or type of store to find it at?
You can get it at hydro stores or on ebay however if you don't want to do either the emergency blankets at walmart and kmart in camping section 2.39 a blanket they are like 4 ft by 7 ft.
i called the lowes near where i'm at, they had no idea what it was or if they had it. what department would it be in? i'll try micheals sometime, too. and what is a hydro store? im assuming its a place to get hydro growing supplies, but i have no idea what to look for in a store name to find one
Try this: The dollar store,,,, the cheap Christmas wrapping paper/plastic that is silver lined on the backside is made of mylar,,, just as good as the expensive stuff but thinner.
Do you you have a science surplus store near you?I've always been able to find everything I need there.
