I have a few choices as to where to dry my buds, which do you think is best? -Basement: dark, somewhat humid (there is a dehumidifier), can add a fan. -Attic: very, very hot. -Closet: could put a bag over the buds to make it dark, add a fan for circulation. Smell would be an issue, and keeping cats and dog out.
As you obviously know from posting the question, none are great answers. It's hard to answer from here because it all depends on how much each choice's negative issue is a factor. The basement: how humid? Doesn't sound good, humidity can encourage mold. How much could you get that under control? The attic: if you are using two "very's" then it's too hot, your bud will overdry. The closet: your best choice of the three from the MJ's standpoint, but what is your situation that odor needs to be controlled? No point in growing and drying if it gets you busted.
