Where to buy drivers

    Where do you order the drivers for your QB96 boards?

    I can't decide if I want 2 separate drivers or one driver for the 2 that I'm getting.

    I dunno about others, but I usually order mine from digikey. I've also ordered one or 2 cob holders and drivers from newark.

    you can compare prices on www.findchips.com, just put in the driver model in the search bar.

    You will be best to run both on 1 hlg-320h-54a. As for where to get the diver I have used mouser electronic. Sager electronic, and tcr electronic.

    I've been going back and forth on using twp or one. The 320 or two 185s

    My big question would be which way would run cooler?

    I have 4 qb120s running and their power supplies run hot. I keep them outside the tent. Might move them in during the winter though.

    I'm not too sure about that man but I would imagine the big difference would be.... the larger driver would produce more heat from a single point where the smaller drivers will create equal heat you would just be able to spread it around better.
