hello, I am trying to get started on my first indoor grow in West Michigan. I am having trouble finding a place to get seeds or clones from within an hour drive. Any suggestions? I've been contacting dispensaries but the ones that have replied only sell to med card holders. I did order some online but I would also like to find a local location to get faster access as well
You said it yourself online...because its the way forward you can pick and choose any seeds you want and the seedbanks will have. They have them all. I dont understand why you want to drive to get seeds when they will just take a few days in the mail. No hassle.
I get it. I started growing in 2016, and the first place my mind went to for sourcing genetics was local. In my area (Washington state) in 2016, there wasn't much local (one collective with seeds that was 1.5 hours away that got shut down within a year). Not much has changed in that regard, but I've found better sources for seeds for the types of strains that I like online. My 2¢ would be to look for some breeders who grow in a similar style to yours that are open and transparent about where they source their genetics and their breeding process. Once you find those breeders, if you can't buy from them directly (always better to support them with the full purchase if you can), look for an online seedbank that carries them. There are lots of breeders and more than a handful of reputable seedbanks that'll ship most places. Check out: Ace Seeds (Spanish breeder collective that I'm a fan of), The Vault Seedbank (great seedbank in the UK that has representatives that are GC members; "George - The Vault", shoot him a message) and Hipersemillas seedbank (a Spanish seedbank that I've had good experiences with). All of these are shipping to the West Coast, USA. Shipping times out of Spain have been slowed down since covid. Haven't ordered from the UK in a bit so can't speak to that. Everything has still arrived though.
ILGM is great. From Netherlands but shipping facility is in CA so no issues with customs. Had my seeds in 5 days.
I did too. I got them in 5 days from placing the order using bank draft. I knew there was no way they got through customs and to my house in such a short timez so I looked it up and turns out they apparently ship from CA. This is my first grow with their seeds and so far, super healthy. 100% germination. 3 or 4 weeks to go.
I'll take a look. I love seedsman but they no longer take my card. I'm looking also for one where you get good deals! For the fun of it
I paid around $135 for their Berry Mix Pack. 15 feminized seeds. 5 each of Strawberry Cough, Blueberry and Blackberry Kush. All germinated and have been very healthy. My first indoor run was just jarred last week. Outdoor are looking amazing.
