So me and this chick are done. And I just so happen to have the necklace I bought her last year for her birthday. It was a 1/6 carat diamond necklace with box style chain from Jareds. I paid $400 out the door. The chain is broken, but the value I believe is in the piece and diamond itself. Where do you fellow blades suggest I take this, I am about to go to a pawn shop but my past experiences with those is I will probably get $25 out the door on this lol, just how pawn shops are. Any suggestions. I need weed! I know I won't get 400 for this, but I'd take $150.
At a pawn shop or jewelry shop they won't give you much for the diamond itself. They pay for the gold though,so shop around a bit and see what a few stores tell you.
Shit, if the shops offer me less then $100, then I am taking the diamond out and putting it in my left ear.
Try some legit stores. What take Diamonds and shit make an exchange for cash. Because that shit can get melted down. It might save you a few bucks. I dont know if this works for sure but id try it out then a pawnstore..
10 karat white gold chain with 1/6 karat diamond...youll walk out of a pawn ship with around what you said youd take. 125-150. depending on the weight of the necklace of course edit- actually...no..id go with 75. post a pic and i bet i could tell u within 5 bucks how much a pawn shop will give u
ok see this is what I'd do. unless you really need the cash right now....I'd save that shit. if you don't still have the box, just get another NICE box for it. save that shit for your next bitch. hell if she gets something like that for her ONE MONTH, she's not going anywhere. but that's just me
Nahh don't do that.I mean, atleast I wouldn't do it.It would always be in the back of my mind and I'd feel like an asshole, knowing that was for somebody else.
You could try a jewelry appraiser or a jewelry store? Idk if they buy stuff back but I'm pretty sure they know how to fix stuff up like new and could re-sell it Or Craigslist, ebay...something like that
