I've been trying to figure out where I want to go for vacation and I've narrowed it down to a few places. I'm probably only gonna have about 10 days and I don't wanna spend more than $2000 if I don't have to. I want somewhere weed friendly or at least somewhere where I won't go to jail for it and I want a nice combo of nature and nightlife. Where should I go?
A lot more than $2,000 for 10 days including airfare + hotel, etc. Based on your description, I'd say northern California, Colorado, or Alaska (more nature than nightlife).
Yea flights to Europe are damn expensive and so is everything else over there, but I've never left this continent and I wouldn't mind paying a little extra if it's worth it. I think Cali fits the bill quite nice, that was my original plan, think 10 days is enough to see the whole coast, or should I just spend all my time up north? Also do you know the legality of weed in Alaska? From what Ive heard it's pretty relaxed out there but I'm not sure.

Yea I basically just wanna see LA and some nice beaches. Other than that I'd be up north. And I had no idea how laid back some states were about weed. No penalty at all in Alaska? That's nuts. And I might wanna stay out of Florida, a year jail for possession?
I was thinking about that too and it is cheap but I don't know about weed on a cruise ship. I'm sure I could pull it off but it seems too risky.
Then rent a car and hit the PCH (Highway 1). Lots of beautiful things to see from LA to San Fran (state parks/nature, towns, the ocean, etc). Some states are very laid back, others are dicks. Check the list!
Yea I was skimming through some states of interest and I cant believe it how chill some places are. Even up here in Canada you can by law go to jail for 6 months for possession, but I've never heard of anyone getting time for weed. I've been busted a few times and had to pay a $400 fine once, the other times they just took my weed and sent me on my way, and one time they just joked around with us about being potheads as we continued to smoke a joint in front of them. Depends on the cop I guess.
Not really interested in either of the two. Mostly because I'm a picky eater and I've been told that I'd starve to death if I went to Cuba due to their weird and apparently crappy food. I guess Dominican isn't as bad but i still heard it's not the greatest food. I'd rather pay the extra money to go to another island with better food.
I put Vancouver, but in all honesty you should skip that crap city and go to Kelowna. Seriously man, it's the closest thing to Amsterdam you're gonna get in North America.
Go to the Florida Keys. Key West is amazing, especially since you're in Canada now. It's ultra liberal, but weed isn't legal of course. I was there for new years last year and it was 88 degrees and sunny. Crystal clear water everywhere, and all the people and the lifestyle there is totally slow motion. Lots of bars and nightlife. It's like a cleaner, safer, nicer version of New Orleans 150-170 miles off the southern tip of Florida.
Goto Amsterdam, but reduce the number of days. May be down to 4 days. I think I can survive in Amsterdam with 250 USD per day, with a hotel, with enough weed and food and other stuffs...
I could do both I guess, is there coffee shops and such in kelowna? And if I do go out there I gotta go to whistler too because half the people I know moved out there and never came back.
