Where Should I Create A Petition Aimed At Netflix?

  1. The only reason I've kept revisiting UK Netflix (I have access to US Netflix on my Firefox browser) is for Dune, David Lynch's sci-fi masterpiece. 6 months ago they removed it from their catalogue and I have been without ever since...

Something needs to happen. This is no joke, I watched the film 20+ times on Netflix. How could they remove it just like that? I want to start a petition and I think I can garner support from my friends and from many forum-based websites which I'm a member of. I just don't know where to start.

Which petitions website should I choose? There are a lot of them and I'm confused as to which of them are most respected. Paid petitions are out of the question, I'm poor.

Once I get a reasonable amount of signatures (250-1000), how do I get the attention of Netflix? Do I email them or do I wait for them to find it themselves?

Thanks for reading and remember, he who controls the spice controls the universe!

  2. Sorry I don't know anything about petition websites.  But Netflix probably doesn't care about a petition for 1,000 people because instead, they monitored hundreds of thousands of people to see how many of them watched Dune.  It probably costs Netflix tens of thousands of dollars per year for the rights to show Dune.  They probably saw about 100 people watch it because that's how awful Dune is :p

    So good luck!

  3. OP are you being serious?  just fuckin buy it if you love it so much

change.org if you really are serious. But seems kinda futile to me, its a show, buy it if you love it that much. netflix gets rid of shows every month,, and they add new ones every month. Sorry that you're favourite show got taken down, but thats the way of the business.

Edit: by the way, I've never even heard of Dune and I'm always on netflix. Probably taken down for a reason.
