Japan is too buy trying to appear innocuous and cute. Considering past relations and occupations, Japan needs to stay on China's good side.
actually i think the violence would be initiated by the state. probably in response to a large group refusing to bow to the masterclass.
The earth will either be blown up from nuclear war or a war will break out between every extremist group in america and the fascist government.
I think America could go one of two ways, either down the drain after economic failure and war or it could go for the better and we will see America doing just find. Technology will also greatly effect this too however and 20 years is a big margin to try to think about. I do think if we see Cannabis legalization that the economy would go up as it would spark an entirely new industry.
In 20 years, I think that if our population keeps growing so greatly, we will start to see a lot of strain on our natural resources. Droughts in the southwest will only worsen with the influx of immigrants, farmers will be pushed to grow more, energy needs will keep skyrocketing. This trend will only cause us to become more dependent on outside resources than we already are, and it will get worse if we keep wasting the earth's limited resources in the interest of economic progress. Economic and environmental collapse are linked and I think it has already begun to happen in many ways. So in 20 years...barring some major changes that are unlikely to happen, it will probably only be worse.
I don't know, it could either be really good or really bad, either way I think I'll probably move to another country within the next 20 years. I mean I like it here in all but I just don't trust the people in charge at all, and I'm sick of seeing our freedoms slowly being taken away and most people are oblivious to the repercussions of that. There shouldn't even be a federal government.
