  2. I would guess because getting drunk used to be called "getting stoned" so they also started callin' the high from weed "stoned", and a person who gets "stoned all of the time is a "Stoner" just a a person who cleans is a cleaner, or a person who paints is a painter. Does anybody know what I mean?

  3. after john friedrich stoner, the first american to smoke weed and say 'damn, this is a good time'

  4. I like that answer.

  5. when i was a young child, i used to think stoner meant crackhead. because crack rock(stone)

Maybe because when people are high they look like a stone not doing anything which is where "stoned" prob came from then that brought about stoners
