i think i might have to prepare for a spider mite war. not sure though , i left my week old sprouts outside for some good natural sun, but when i brought it back in, i saw a super small white crawling thing on the rim of the cup its in, so im sure its a spider mite. so is it safe to spray neem oil on it? and probably teh soil? do they have it at home depot or target?
I've found Safer END ALL is the best spray for treating and preventing. Kills them dead with one schpritz.
Most all hydroponics supply stores carry neem oil. I would dilute it in PH'd water. Spray it on the leaves. Gently wipe the excess moisture off. Neem solution every other day. With plain sparkling/carbonated water in between. I had some clones that were given to me that had a previous spider mite problem. I followed this protocol for a week and my girls are healthy and happy. No return of the mites.
