Seriously? I can't find anything, I'm seriously beginning to think that all the people that support the prohibition have no idea how to use computers or something like that. If anyone can come up with a link please give it to me, I want to support the cause, but I can't find anything to defend it. Facebook groups/fan pages work fine. Please don't give me anything under MySpace, I refuse to sign up for another (Two accounts of mine got deleted for no good reason.)
I don't know but that is a really good question. I doubt that a lot of prohibitionist know how too work a computer or maybe they just know that pretty much nobody will buy any of their bullshit lies that they tell.
Someone posted a Facebook the other day and I have been making comments, but the group is only 300 or so strong and I think a majority of them are defending the cause as well, I had someone attempt to bring up a debate, but I quickly shut them up
The DEA is the biggest. The ONDCP have their site too. Then there's groups like "drug-free America" (stupid name, impossible goal). And every police chief and DA in the country. Mainly they don't need to do any activism, they have the law on their side so all they have to do is block every attempt at legalization and they win.
It's so great that none of these sites (related to what you gave me) leave room for any argument or exchange of information. It's like all they want to do is hide behind the badge.
Their mirror is cracked and they are running out of smoke. Unless its tobacco smoke, in which case, they have pleanty. According to NORML and the stash.norml.org, there is a site I can't remember the name that tells the internet traffic of every site. NORML, MPP, LEAP, DPA, ASA, and PUFFM all blow the prohibition sites out of the water in the way of internet traffic by 10's of thousands or more. People are seeking out legalization sites not sites to perpetuate the lie. Just another sign, the end is near. drugfreeworld is my favorite prohib site. They actually claim alcohol is safer. Favorite quote " I was given my first joint on the playground, now I am addicted to Heroin.
That quote is in all the Marijuana drug prevention booklets, seriously what does Heroin have to do with Marijuana??? Don't even bother with the gateway shit I get enough of that from the prohibition activists lol.
That's exactly the point, they have to throw other drugs in there to scare people b/c mj being soooo dangerous by itself is a flacid argument. On that drugfreeworld it jumps right in to saying how mj could be laced with another substance that is so dangerous. Well yeah, anything can be more dangerous if a more dangerous substance is added to it. Do prohibs not understand how much those other drugs cost? Is a dealer really going to put an 8 ball of coke or heroin or angeldust in your oz of weed? I'd say the chances are slim to none. I have smoked over a decade and the most of a contaminant I have found is a 1/2" piece of red yarn, that probably came off the bag the the weed was harvested with. When weed is laced with anything, an experienced user can tell in the first pull or as soon as its lit b/c of the taste and smell. Put it on a regulated market and it wouldn't be a problem. Ammonia isn't that dangerous of a substance but when you add bleach to it, it makes a toxic gas (do not try) that can fry your lungs (my mother found out on accident, she should've known better). Anything can be more dangerous if something more dangerous is added to it.
Aah yes the old bait and switch. Well I can't really back up anything bad I say about marijuana so let me throw around the words "think of the children" and "heroin". This will get the parents upset! Foundation for a Drug-Free world is founded by none other than the great church of Scientology.... Yeah that's legit no lies there everybody!
Weed never leads to crack or meth, apparently. Just heroin- the public fears the needle. If you know what I mean.
Well they had a pretty good one. Their sitemaster now goes around and saves the world from pot, rather than upkeeping a forum.
Sadly, the prohibitionists don't need websites, they have every state legislature, the congress, the liquor lobby, the tobacco lobby, the drug companies lobby, the rehab lobby, etc., etc., etc. to always actively work to keep weed illegal. (And, as someone mentioned earlier, all the cops and DA's in the country) On a more positive note, all the publicity abt. the movement to legalize in the past year is really encouraging. For over 30 years, since the 1970's, there hasn't been any strong movement to legalize, but there is now, so I do think that powerful big business or not, we're moving towards legalization!!! Let's hope it doesn't take too long.
Sorry if this is off topic...Peace and love ya'll(Yes I'm from texas lol). Anyways glad to see so many people waking up and not letting the government dictate their thoughts and decisions. Whether you're for prohibition or not atleast make an informed choice on the topic.
Authoritarians/Prohibitionists tend to be like that. They hide behind their (perceived) power. That is very interesting. When I wikipedia'd "Foundation for a drug-free world" I found this: http://www.scientologytoday.org/press/701161047581_scn-local.html They did it in honor of MLK. I didn't realize MLK was against drugs.
Stumble Weed LOL That came straight from the dea's website. edit: now that I'm reading this it's not so funny. It's like brainwashing, it makes me sick.
