I'm getting ready to go back home to Christmas right now, and the cheapest round-trip ticket is $350 now, I understand it's going to be a lot more expensive for Christmas, but is it logical to say that it might also be even more expensive since it's so far away? If that makes sense. because some people are ordering tickets for Thanksgiving now, so would they be inflated at all? Or do you think this is the cheapest it's going to be? I was thinking about checking again in October and ordering by Halloween. But if it's not going to get any cheaper, i might as well do it now. So basically, will it get any cheaper before it gets more expensive?
i think its right after thanksgiving and alwasy order on a weds or tues, those are when there the cheapest never order on weekend.
yeah i'll be ordering on a Tuesday. but really? after Thanksgiving? that seems too close to Christmas!
ehh, from my experience the longer you wait the more and more expensive the flight will get. I'm not a super flyer or anything like that, just fly a couple times a year, so there might be blades who can give better advice. And yea.. like people have said I've gotten the best deals on tuesday/weds late at night.
It will be cheaper the farther in advance you purchase the ticket. That has been the case for me every time. You should just do it now.
I bought a roundtrip ticket about a month ago for december 22-jan4, and it was 450. So you have a damn good deal and I would recommend buying it now and not putting it off.
the ones i'm seeing for December 23rd until Dec. 30th are $350 non-stop round trip so I think i'll probably buy those.
