    nice viewpoints you make smokinokie, and i much agree with them

    as to 9-11 one must not forget that this was a *reaction* to western politics. for those of you who are blinded by bush-propaganda, please read on and at least try to understand.

    the US was no random target for the airplane bombings. neither was the specific targets themselves. the world trade center and the pentagon was/is the foremost symbols of US run capitalism and military might, and thus the most poignant targets for any wannabe terrorist fed up with US imperialism.

    as long as US policy continous to support regimes who suppresses regional interests (ie palestine) in favour of the reigning powers that are(ie israel), the growth of terrorism will go on.

    to break the circle of violence, we need to think anew. i much enjoy beeing a part of the rich north, but unless we start sharing our riches with the less fortunate parts of the world, we'll all suffer the consequences. as 9-11 was a precursor of.
