When your high, your 4. Long read.

  1. I've been smoking for the past year or so. I found that it has opened up my understanding about how the human brain works. What I have found may only be applicable to me, but I would like to share what I have experienced here.

First off, let me describe to you what I feel like when I'm high. Think of a car. You have the frame, the wheels, but more importantly, think of the front of the car. Now think of the front of the car, as the human head. Now I want you to imagine that the front hood has been pulled up, and you can see inside the car and you can see the engine. You can see all the inner workings, all the gizmos and gadgets that pull this and fire that. When I'm high, I feel like I'm looking inside the human brain and I'm seeing all the innermost mechanics that make us think and able to react to life.

Okay, with that, lets move on.

Normally when I'm high I see the world as a far simpler place. At least, my immediate surroundings. The day no longer becomes divided up between what I'm going to do in the next hour or 2, but what today brings and what tomorrow brings. I also find that my brother and sister and I have time for normal discussion, actual conversations that dont mean anything or don't have any effect on the world.

Also, things are funnier. I actually find that things that normally I wouldn't find funny are funny when I'm high. I can laugh to date movie and stupid movies like that, cause my standards are lower than what they would normally be.

Theres alot more things that, if I were high right now, I could describe to you, but suffice it to say that I've been doing so much thinking about this that I have had an epiphany; when you are high, you think more like you do, when you are 4 or 5.

Think about it; do you remember much about your childhood? Do things seem alot simpler, much like a child would? Do you not care about things around you cause your just sorta in your own world?

    Anyways, these are my thoughts.

  2. Yes I will agree with you that when your younger things are simple. You could not have a care in the world and still enjoy yourself from day to day. It seems when many people get older they care to much about whats going on around them or outside influences. When most of us were younger we did not care about what others think cause things were new to us and interesting. As we get older we understand that we can do what we want but care more about what others have to say, only because we want our day to day life to be approving as well as justified by others. All and all, its really up to you. Are you gonna let others make YOUR life? To me its not worth it. When you die, its game over. What do you have to prove then? Nothing! Prove something to yourself.. Make you. YOU!

  3. yeah ive also thought about this. when im high i thought of myself as being a younger version of me in the way that i look at the big picture at a simplified form but when something catches my attention i indulge myself in it. things are also alot more satisfying. its like when you were younger and an icecream truck rolls buy and you get yourself one and youre just all smiles lmao. everything is amusing and funny and you walk around with your head in the sky without a care in the world

  4. actually, when you do ether, you think like a child

the more ether you do, the further back in your thought process throughout age you go, you'll start thinking of things you thought of as a kid, and eventually, even a baby with no motor skills and very very intense emotions. alot of people experience "deja vu" when they do ether, n this is why i think

its quite fascinating, and it was like the same thing ur describing for me on ether, it was like going inside of my brain, hearing the neurons fire from synapse to synapse. etc..

i suggest giving it a try sometime, especially combined with weed

  5. I enjoy pot, because I never can get bored.
    :]

  6. I just picked my nose, 'cause you know...I'm 4

  7. I tend to think about the intense intricacies and complexities that this world offers us when I'm high. I focus on things that my sober mind can easily perceive but I look at them from a different perspective. I would not say it was simpler either since it is often just extremely complicated. I think weed allows people to not care so much about certain things and for some people that puts them in a "simpler" mindset which is what I think the OPs ideas come from. Therefore, I'd say I disagree with your statement for myself but it could make sense for some people.
