i think about thinking quite often. is there something else i should do?

  2. Just be.

Let your thoughts come and go. Do not analyze them.

  3. thinking about thinking...what am I clinically retarded?

  4. Yes.. You should think about something other than thinking

  5. its quite an interesting topic

analyzing the way you think, how often you think, what you think about at what times or in what situations

thinking about the way others think, how others come to conclusions, what makes ppl say the things they say

    there are many other things to think about as well tho;
but i think the OP was just trying to be funny

  6. If you spend all your time thinking about your thinking instead of thinking about something else, when you think about thinking, you won't have anything to think about.. Woah:smoking:

  7. true
except thinking, you can still think about that

but i agree, you should venture into other trains
would you wanna spend your entire life in only one train?

plus you may get tripped up on your reactions, confusing those around you if you are thinking about your thinking all the time
people will start to read you wrong

  8. If you seriously want a change. There's a nice sticky on meditation in this forum.

  9. Its not thinking, its acquaintance.

this doesn't make that much sense to me right now but i felt like it was the right thing to say.

  10. That's the spirit! Don't think before you speak! :p

  11. Try to think about not thinking, it's harder than it sounds:p

Like someone said earlier, 'just be'

  12. Exactly.
