Sorry these are crappy phone pics, they do not do the plant justice Still seeing all milky trics, it has lost most but not all of it's leaves.. i have been feeding it molasses and the last couple days the actual green buds have thickened. these have actually been in their flowering stage for 13 weeks now.. how much longer do you think?
Hmmm I say around 7:30pm next saturday evening. Come on hommie, look at the trichomes they will tell you all
I have no idea what strain it is but definetly sativa. The temps are good.. I'm in colorado and it's around 70 degrees during the day and around 58 or 60 at night
Get a magnifying glass and check out the trichomes. If they appear to have started turning amber then your in the harvest stage. when trichomes turn amber they no longer produce THC meaning they are at MAX maturity/ potency. Flush the plants properly and in a week maybe 2 you can harvest and begin to dry. Happy Growing.
i flushed at 10 weeks.. tricomes are still milky, just looking for an idea of how much longer?? wouldn't you be too at 13 weeks?? lol
This guy is wrong. The plant has plenty of stored nutrients it should finish reguardless though you could have had better results using nutrients longer. Hard to say when it's done as i can't see the trichomes.
Yeah, well, since the plants trichomes have not turned amber as yet, you are looking at a few weeks at least. I dont think stored nutrients are going to cover that span of time for further maturation.
The plant will make due with what it has. But yes I do agree with the fact that he should have gave them nutrients longer he could have benefited for another 2 weeks from them.
Well, I cut off the nutes too soon but I didn't know the strain would take so long.. Now I have 2 other flowering plants flowering under their vegging lights because of the space issue... Should I give it more nutes or just stick with the carbs?
I am in the same boat as you. I flushed to soon and it seems like the trics have been cloudy for 3 weeks now. It is my first grow, with bagseed, and I figured at week 9 I was going to flush and by week 11 it would be done. Boy was I wrong. I am still waiting. Just stick with carbs or plain water.
My first plant, too. Next time to prevent this problem I'm going to buy clones from the dispensary with at least an estimated time approximation. Over the last week the green buds have been swelling.. I'm thinking this may be the resin glands swelling or maybe my plant just needs to flower for another month Next time I'm going to wait until I think it's done and then spend two weeks flushing it.
