I started to germinate my alasken ice seeds which took 3 days for one to develop a small taproot an for the other one to crack. I thought this would be enough so i proceeded to put them in moist soil and cover the pots with cling film. My question is how long do you think it will take for them to break through the soil? High there, I dont cover my pots with anything. I just wait for them to crack open and plant them. They usually take 1-3 days after that. Good luck
Ok cheers lads i will start a journal once my mate has installed my 600 watt HPS and all my fans an such, for now tho its down to a 125 watt cfl. Ive asked questions about this strain but it seems it gets mixed reviews so i will keep you all updated! thanks again
Sounds like a groovy plan, I veg using a big 125w CFL and flower with a 600w HPS to, works great. Some of the Alsakan ice never budded but that was from the old pheno it has been sorted now, just got to hope that your seeds are from the new batch. Good luck
Ye thanx mate, ive successfully sprouted 2 of them now which im happy about, the slower one is actually doing better than the good one now but ohwell I will have them under the 125 untill 2morow when my 600 is installed by my friend. I may leave them under for a few more days but i want to get as much bush as possible haha. Thanx people
What do you mean you want as much bush as possible? We all do The 600w will stretch them a little. I veg mine under my 125w CFL's until they get to much for it and then put them under my 600w HPS on 12/12 when they reach about 1-2 feet tall. If I have time to veg for longer then I LST them to for better yeild and use of lights. Good luck dude
