I think that with the ability to homegrow, cigarette companies will be forced to refrain from using harsh chemicals for there to be any demand. All company weed will have to be perfectly organic, or people will only buy home-grown. While this isn't a bad thing, I do like the idea of buying a pack of joints from a gas-station.
Marlboro could mass produce and they wouldn't need to put any chemicals in it. weed doesn't need pesticides, so no chemicals. also, no filter because it takes some of the thc out.
I don't think the tabacco companies would, unless the mass stoner consumers want it or not. I have a feeling stoners won't agree with them altering it, therefore they would have to make changes to mold the market. But then again, people just don't seem to give a shit these days about health. So they could pump those things full of chemicals and people would still buy it.
