When to trim undergrowth?

Discussion in 'Plant Training' started by dirty dee, May 10, 2011.

  1. With lst... Got 13-16 tops each on both my ladies, pistils coming in on virtually all of them. When should I start trimming the little shit that thinks it's gonna be a top? I'm folding leaves back so each top is always getting light still

I think trimming is generally done just before your gonna switch to flower/and during the stretch i think mate. But you have done so already so just start trimming away now mate.

Yeah I already trimmed the little secondary growth that wasn't gonna make it to the light. I need to get some stem pics lol
  4. i always trim a little at a time through the whole stages of growth right until the end of week 2 of 12/12.
  5. I'm a big fan of defoliating .

  6. Even for outdoor grows. I have over 20 tops very busy.
