  1. i have a couple of my plants in a small cup. my plants are only two weeks old so i think they have enough room right now.what age should i start transplanting them to bigger pot. i have butter tubs that i want to transplant them to. would that be big enough?

  2. There should be holes made of the small cups your using, i dont kow how small is small but if its a shot glass sized dixie cup you need to transplant it by now..

Anyways, the holes at the bottom.... look for root tips emerging from them, when you see that transplant to 6 inch pot.

butter tub is about the same depth of a 4 inch pot but wider so should be ok for a while, but make sure make holes at the bottom for drainage.

  3. its not that damn small lol. its prolly about 5 inches deep.

  5. hey the roots are like a copy of the plant so when the plant is taller than the cup size its time to transplant.:smoking:

  6. Bigger the roots, the bigger the shoots.

  7. You will quickly outgrow the "butter tub" pretty quickly. I would go straight to a 3+ gallon pot. Transplanting/repotting stresses the plant... so why put them through it more than once?? Just my opinion... Good luck with your grow!

Absolutely. I put my sprouts in 5 litre pots until I can sex them. Then the ladies go into 11 UKgallon pots, the guys on the compost heap.
