So I have 5 great white shark plants that are doing well under 2 2" T5's in 1 gallon pots. They're only about 10 days since germination, about 5 inches tall, and seem to be doing well. (I'd post a pic but I'm currently not home.) I have a 1000w HPS bulb that I plan to put them under but I was wondering how long I should wait? Is it too soon to put them under? I was gonna set the ballast to only 50% (500w) for pretty much the whole grow but I'm unsure if that's too intense for the plants since they're still only seedlings. Any feedback is appreciated.
