Looking for some one with experience in creating seed. I plan to take a female Green Crack and make it create pollen using Tiresias Mist. There is an area isolated with a 100w light that I will use for the process. This is my second time trying to make seed, last time I tried this I only yielded 20 usable seeds. At first I thought it didn't work because the plant created a lot of bud and I did not realize it was making pollen sacs underneath these buds and spraying itself. Gave up too quick and missed my window of opportunity to collect the pollen. The offspring are doing quite well. I would like to take the Green Crack pollen and seed a few of them out instead of having it seed itself. I have plants in several stages of growth, is it best to give them pollen as soon as buds form? A friend said he puts a plastic bag over the pollen plant when they get close to opening. After the pollen sacs open he shakes this bag over another female plant to seed it out. Opinions on this technique? Seems dangerous. How long is the pollen sac opening process? I was thinking of transferring the pollen to the mothers with a Q-tip to lower the risk of the pollen spreading to bud plants, but want to collect as much pollen as possible to do this with. Some guides say to just lay white paper down and the pollen will fall onto it if there is no wind. Other guides say the pollen bursts outward in several directions making the paper seem ineffective to get a majority of the pollen. What do you find to be the best way to collect pollen?
Use a small paint brush to apply. Apply the pollen at the very least 6 weeks till Harvest so the seed has time to mature
