Hey yo! I heard once long ago that if you harvest earlier you get a more uplifting high and if you harvest late you get more couch-lock... can anybody confirm thats true? I always harvest at like 90% brown hairs to get maximum yield but I think I getting the couch-lock... What brown to white hair ratio should I aim for to get something that will make me laugh more and pick me up?
To early and it is a jittery, edge of your seat, Fingernails on a chalk board, uncomfortable to downright miserable ride. The good thing is it very short lived so while you feel cheated it wears off fast. Really a waste of the grow. Get a USB microscope and get a real look. Even a fully amber plant doesn't put me to sleep. Stone is Stone. I am or I'm not. No halfway about it. Ghost OG. Fully amber on top and clear as glass out of reach of the light. Think about all the trichomes you can't see that are still clear as glass and nowhere near done. Needs another week maybe more. I do 10 weeks actual outside. 70 to 75 days of flower. I shake the Kief off and make Capsules from it. The biggest complaint is the damn stuff keeps me awake all night with my brain a whirling till dawn if I take it to late in the day. Not exactly Couchlock. BNW
i wait til all the white hairs recede and my trichomes are about 10% amber the drying and curing is the most important part though
