When to harvest mature seeds?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Philopian, Oct 5, 2009.

  1. It's been 2+ weeks and Oct 17th will be 30 days since pollenating.
I read it takes up to 30 days to produce mature seed.

My question when will I take the seeds, after drying and before curing?
Or should I cure? Doesn't make sense to do it after curing am I right?

    :bongin:

  2. Looks like no one is jumping on this one. Most of the folks who hang out here don't make seeds.

I do not know the answer to your question. But I am perfectly capable of making one up! :D Seeds are supposed to be good for at least 7 years if kept in a cool dark place, the sort of place where curing is done. So I imagine that your seeds will weather the curing process, no problem.

And now that I have bumped your thread, maybe someone who actually has real knowledge will happen along. It could happen.

Good luck with your seedy grow.

  3. ok, well idk if all plants do this but i seeded an autoflower strain and quite a few seeds have matured and have began to dry and fall off the plant, since the rain some even germed on the plant..... so anytime... weed seems simple to grow (its my first time) ive done pretty well so far, did my best when i stopped being uptight about everything.
