When to call yourself a stoner.

I realized I was a stoner a long long time ago. I smoked about 1/8 by myself at this party and it finally hit me. I'M A STONER!

It was a good day lol

 

being a stoner is when you get high just to get high and for no other reason, imo

 

for me it was when i smoked by myself... just like the post above said, just to get high...

 

the first time i relized i was a stoner was when i got a boner thinking of the wake n bake i was goin to enjoy in the morning haha. but really idk when i started to call myself a stoner.. damn i really want to know its pissing me off. damn dude you brought me down not cool man... not cool lmao

I think it is when you friend who doesn't smoke calls you a stoner, and instead of objecting and saying something like, "Hey man, I'm not a stoner/pothead/super cool person", you smile.

 

You can call yourself anything you want if you believe enough. Titles are not given, they are earned.

 

I think being a stoner is a relative sort of thing. Someone who just smokes weed every once in a while, like when offered at a party really doesn't have a name, just someone who smokes. Put the term pothead in here somewhere. Anybody can be a stoner, just depends on what you think it means. I think being a stoner is anyone who smokes as an activity for themselves alone, somewhat a part of your life, ya know? I think being a pothead is more what so many people call stoner. A pothead relies on it all, not like they're addicted, but just prefers or needs to live the "high" life, not happy without the herb. I'm not saying being a pothead is a bad thing, far from it. I think using the two terms just let's you separate the many definitions of a stoner. I dunno, just my humble opinion.

 

Yeah being a stoner starts when you smoke by yourself and you smoke just to get high. When it becomes just a normal thing.

People who smoke socially aren't stoners.

When would you want to call yourself a stoner? That's not generally a title I want to hold, even if deserving.

 

Thats not true. People who smoke socially and people who smoke to be "cool" are 2 totally different things. I love to smoke in groups of people, its always more fun like that but that doesnt mean people dont label me as a stoner...

 

I think it is when you dont see a smoking session as a big deal anymore. This one newbie I knew would get all excited like he was gonna win the lottery or something when we would smoke. When you see it as just another thing to do with friends, and the novelty of being high is gone, then you are a stoner.

 

Umm, fuck lableing my self like that. I'm just a guy who likes to smoke weed.

 

If smoking alone and just for the pleasure of smoking makes me a stones then i became a stoner one week after smoking.

 

when you stop glamorizing being a stoner as something to develope into...

when you have to start figuring in weed as one of y our weekly expenses when you get your pay check

 

being a stoner is where everythings on a dif level u know cuz ur always high so u force that other level of reasoning uve known for so long right out and once its all gone u wont realise it cuz ur always high but then someones gonna clal u a stoner and ur gonna nod your head and go "righhhht yeah" and just walk around being cool thinking to urself "yoh immah stonah"
