when to add ferts?

    I am using a soil with time release ferts. How long before I should start adding my own ferts? The soil is a 14-11-08 ratio and I have liquid ferts of a 12-4-8 ratio.

    I suggest you read the posts in the sick plant section we have a ton of posts with people having a great deal of issues using soil as you have with time released ferts

    Your soil is TOO HOT .......I suggest you transplant, wait 2 weeks before you start a fert regiment

    When soil has nutes and it affects the plant in a bad way, they call that a "burn" of the plant, nute burn.

    yea I know that. My plants are not nute burned tho. I just want to know when its safe to put in my own ferts.

    If you MUST use the crap then dont add anything until they ask for it.
