When someone is holding the pipe/blunt etc

Just pause for a second and pass it, if you get really good you wouldn't even need to stop talking.

 

I'm a guy that will tell the smoker to smoke or pass it. If I'm in a group that's smoking a bowl, I don't want the burning weed to go to waste. The person with the dutch smokes, everyone else can talk. It just makes for a good smoke sesh.

 

Im the guy sayin pass it.. I mean im not rude about it, im tryna smoke too tho.. It shouldnt be a big deal to pass it.

And its all good mith, we need dudes like you that tell the stories

Depends on if it's a good story or some baked doofus rambling on like: "mannnnnn i was driving and the sun like totally shined on my dashboard and i'm like woah man my dashboard has all this like patterns and shit in it....but it's plastic and i'm like wtf why are all these little ridges in my dashboard...like a topographical map of ireland and shit...y'know man...like flat but there's these little ridges....and in those ridges theres all this dust trapped in them like sediment from all the air that flows over those ridges.....and I'm like fuuuuuuuccckkkkk yo....what if that was all kief mannnnnnn....trapped in my car from hotboxing......hahahahahahaa....wait wut

 

we all have the friend who for some reason thinks it doesn't matter to anybody how long they hold up the circle. either that, or they think its funny to watch everybody get all antsy waiting for them to pass the shit haha
It annoys the hell out of me, if its a pipe its not a huge deal, but a joint or bunt HELL no you need to pass that shit right away, unless its your weed quit wasting all the bud for no reason!
But I mean seriously, you're smoking WITH PEOPLE, not by yourself. Smoke on your own time when you're alone, in general people like the pipe to be passed smoothly and quickly, I consider it fairly rude to just sit there telling a story, or (like my friend does) holds onto it for a good few minutes before even taking a hit. Its understandable if somebody is lost in their story and forgets to pass it, because a simple correction is needed: "aye pass that!", but when they're doing it every time they get the piece something is very wrong haha

I sleep on blunts all the time. I mainly smoke bongs, so sittin with it and telling a story is okay

I know.. I like smoking because it relaxes me and when I'm smoking with people it helps me find deeper connections with them. How are you suppose to get to that level if youre telling them to hurry it up with their story.. It's really rude. I may have done it maybe when I was 16ish and there wasnt much bud to begin with, but that was before I really started to understand and love smoking for more than just getting fucked up.

Yeah depending on the situation and who I'm smoking with if its new ppl i wont rush but if its someone I've known forever ill rush em esp if I'm not high or if I haven't smoked in a while. Bu i always like to tell stories so im usually the person to not pass, it usually go out on me haha

 

I think you misinterpreted the point of this status. Nobody is mad that the person is telling a story, they're impatient because they're not passing the pipe/blunt/whatever in any sort of timely manner. Thats a simple pet-peeve of human psychology, not just an irrational thought. If you're used to circles moving at a decent pace, then you're going to get antsy when it randomly halts. It is incredibly easy not to do that without even taking a pause, and if its a joint or blunt, by holding it and letting it burn, everybody else is getting less weed. So there are lots of very logical, as well as subconscious reasons people don't like when someone holds up the circle
