hey all i have 5 plants that were planted on April 30th and a few on may 9th...i vegged to 24/0 until about a week ago then changed to 18/6..my question is if I only want the plants to grow about 1 1/2 to 2 feet tall, when should i start to flower them? The biggest one is about 8 inches tall or so...the younger ones are about 4 inches...ive heard they grow alot during the flowering stage and I dont want them to get out of control. also it might be the strain or something i dunno but the biggest one like i said is 8 inches tall or so..but it really hasnt developed many big leaves...it has the 2 starter leaves...then to rigid leaves above that...then above that the has a 2 leafs that looks right but are still only about an inch out...then above that another set of leafs are coming in...Im afraid to flower(even though its some time away) with such a low amount of plant mass...sorry about the shitty description but its the best i can do without a comera. thanks in advance for replies
patience man its the best thing to do If your plants only have the starter leaves on them then dont flower yet. What kind of lights are you using? and how far away is it? it sounds to me like there streching towards the light i didnt flower mine until about a month of 18/6 but if you want them to be short and bushy you can either top them or train them both can be found in other forums if you look but who knows im a beginner myself im sure someone will correct me when im wrong but hope that helps a little bit atleast Happy token
