Im about to plant the germinated seeds into the soil can I start applying light to it right away ir would it be safer to give it some time?
As soon as they break the soil. As cannakush said, keep them in a warm area. Light isn't needed but helps the soil to stay warm. Place a baggie over the container to keep it moist until it sprouts
Put them under light now. You won't necessarily be there the moment they pop through to turn on the light, but if it's already on then they get energy as soon as they are ready for it, so they can get off to a little better start, less stretching in particular. And it adds some warmth.
