    No. just sob. the A was abandoned in December of 1967. People were having trouble pronouncing SOAB, so they dropped the A.

    It would be exceedingly annoying if all acronyms included conjunctions and the like. It would be impossible to form acronyms that can be pronounced as a word.

    Also, we're lazy.
