As many of you may remember, I have had somewhat of a shitty year thus far. From Epilepsy, drug addiction, and depression; to trying to find work, being homeless, and having a horrible car accident that almost cost my friend and mine's lives. Thing are finally turning around though, after a long recovery. I no longer drink or do other drugs, I'm setting up my finances in order to save money and get an apartment, and I just got a job working the (car) parts desk at a major retailer in town. I have an awesome (and hot ) supervisor, I get paid a fair and decent wage, and I start Monday. I've been clean from everything, including weed, for about a month now. I made a promise and a commitment to myself that I would not smoke any weed until I get a job and start saving. So now I'm going to set myself up with BudBuddy and get myself some celebration weed. The weight that has been lifted from my shoulders feels great.
way to stay true to yourself man, keep it up. and keep fighting for Cannabis, the herb to heal all nations the outrageous prohibition and propaganda continues help Humanity as a whole www.votehemp.com i hope the story of our species has a happy ending like yours
Congrats, man. I think it's a good idea to take a drug break and get back on your feet. That shows true focus and self-control. I'm happy for you, my friend.
Weed is and always will be a part of my life. I will continue to support legalization, as it would be very beneficial to the North American economy as a whole. I believe it will change, as I find the world has a way of evening odds, though with time. Together we all can help change our Countries for the better.
good! i hope you realize its more than recreation/medicine! its FOOD its OIL its CLOTHING its SHELTER and THEN medicine. Cannabis can end world hunger, war for oil, poverty etc. 'getting 'high' is an extraordinarily SMALL part of this crops PRACTICALITY www.votehemp.com its ELITE. Learn.
Eh, I agree, but I'm not that kind of guy. I prefer to keep my opinions to myself on that subject in public, it has held me back and I know it. I'm perfectly content with who I am and what I have. But your cause is noble.
whos holding who back? gotta stand up for what is right! i understand your predicament but this is bigger than you. i would probably maintain your position if life took me on a different path, but it didnt, so here i am. standing up for truth. truth can bring peace and love to all Earth not just me www.votehemp.com
Yea, fuck the starving/diseased/poverty stricken. Everyones different. edit: i'm sure their suffering is part of a 'greater plan'..God/higher powers got it covered, no worries
Yeah, actually. Their problem, not mine. I got my own shit to worry about. I commend you for doing what you do, but I'm not that kind of person. I'm a heavy metal loving, guitar playing, off roading hot rodder with conservative views who just happens to smoke weed. And that's not going to change. It's who I am. Edit: I'm Atheist.
not saying be full-time advocate, just dont bitch out bc you think its going to ' hold you back' your identity is a complete joke, if you base it on public perception
Ive had many of the same problems (some still ongoing) and I don't see no change, but your success is something that gives me hope man.I'm very happy for you.I just gotta keep working on it. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCl108Lxav0&feature=related[/ame]
It holds me back because if I'm public with it it prevents me from getting work. This is a fact. Since I've started keeping it low I've had much, much better luck. Fact. I'm not giving you shit for your choices, so respect mine. I'm not asking you.
Glad I can be an inspiration. I had to pull myself out of poverty, and I'm glad I accomplished my goals. Anybody can do it if they take a step back and evaluate their situation. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnBEXTuUca0]Alice in Chains- A Looking In View * NEW SONG* - YouTube[/ame]
dont doubt this 'fact', bro, although it has nothing to do with 'luck'... it has a cause- poor public perception; and that perception wont change without action/giving people accurate info its hard when a Humane truth is considered 'criminal', but its truth. slavery and segregation were overlooked for the same fears thats how it is, and im actually respecting you by telling you how it is and im really am proud of your success but how much success will you accept before you start standing up for truth? will you choose wealth and greed over truth and justice? how many promotions will it take? Cannabis can sooth global suffering (physically AND mentally) NOW are you going to wait for suffering to increase? or just until your personal suffering increases? www.votehemp.com
I'm not going to do that either. I support legalization but I'm not outspoken. I tried it once and it fucked up my chances of ever getting a job because nobody wants to hire a stoner. Threw me into poverty, and I pulled myself out of it by smartening up and figuring out what works and what doesn't. Unfortunately, being open and outspoken about weed gives you a bad image and it's not worth being thrown into poverty over for me. Not hating, just saying.
