I live in Michigan and this winter i plan to offer a snow plow service for peoples driveways. To get my name out there I think i am going to make a flyer and go door to door around people in my neighborhood because i will be plowing the driveways with my four wheeler. When do you think I should start passing stuff out. I dont want to be to early where people just throw it all away but i want to make sure they know in time.
Get big magnets with your logo and business number on them and put them on the side of your vehicle to look official. Also get a local mailing list and mail out flyers and a discount offer for the first deal. It's less time consuming and will save you a lot of hassle. Put out an ad in the local paper to, they're not that expensive. If you can find a local forum through google advertise there as well.
